BMBRISK has made a commitment to our clients that we will assist in managing your catastrophes. Just as important, our commitment must extend to our ability to manage a weather-related catastrophe that could severely impede our ability to provide services to our clients when they need it most. In our evaluation of this commitment, we determined that outsourcing or relying on third parties to provide software, communications and/or accommodations was not an iron clad guarantee they would be there when our clients needed us most. We determined that third parties were not reliable, in general, and cannot meet the standards that we set for ourselves. Therefore, at considerable cost, we set up a disaster recovery site in College Station, which includes replicated data, duplicate hardware, and backup power which will allow us to serve your needs in the event that Houston should become debilitated.
